An Evening with Bruce Dickinson; the One-Man-Theatre performance with Iron Maiden`s legendary frontman.
Bruce Dickinson`s life and career – both on and off stage – is indeed extra ordinary.
With this Stand-up comedy performance the legendary singer – and pilot, businessman, fencer, actor, author, (…!) takes a look back at when and how it all started;
sharing stories, snippets and slides;
his first music experiences and bands, auditioning for Iron Maiden, childhood, schooldays, life on the road, flying jumbojets, creating music, acting, fencing, brewing beer…
A one of a kind, colorful rollercoaster life.
The show started as a a book release event in 2017, when Bruce Dickinson released his biography; “What Does this Button Do?”.
The London audience loved the Storytelling Show and the storyteller himself enjoyed the performance, the theatre setting, the question- audience sessions with the audience which is included as part of the Show.
The event developed into a Tour and a comedy performance of nearly 3 hours; which Bruce brought to sold out venues in Europe as well as US and Australia in 2018; with new countries and cities added for 2019 and 2020
The show is divided into 2 parts and lasts nearly 3 hours:
Part 1: Stories, slides and snippets
Part 2: Question – Answer Session
The q/a session is based on questions which the guests write on a card they receive at the venue.
Bruce picks and answers the questions he thinks will most entertaining and of most value for the audience. This creates a dynamic, fun, warm, honest dialogue between artist and audience.
Once I start something, I won’t stop until I’m as good at it as I’ll ever be.
